Italy allocates 3 million euros to international organizations in Libya

TRIPOLI – The Italian embassy announced on Tuesday that it allocated a total of 3 million euros in emergency funds to three international organizations in Libya in order to “provide assistance where is most needed.”
The Italian embassy stated via Twitter that it allocated two million euros to the World Food Programme “to ensure access to food to most vulnerable people.”
The embassy also said that allocated five hundred thousand euros to the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Libya for water facilities and medical equipment to 12 medical centers in Benghazi, Misurata, Sebha and Tripoli.
It also allocated five hundred thousand euros to the delegation of the World Health Organization in Libya to improve basic services and provide medicines to areas of Jufra, Wadi Ashshati and Murzuq.
