TRIPOLI – Chinese Charge d’Affaires in Libya, Wang Qimin, said on Tuesday that the Chinese Embassy is ready to reopen in Libya if the security situation allows.
The Chinese envoy made the remarks during a meeting with chairman of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri. The two officials also discussed the latest developments in Libya as well as mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Wang also stressed China’s willingness to cooperate with the UN envoy in Libya, looking forward to resuming suspended projects and starting new projects, particularly in investment and infrastructure.
