Libya pledges to pay 46 million dinars to end ‘hotel debt’ in Jordan

AMMAN – The head of the Jordan Hotel Association, Abdul Hakim al-Hindi, said that that the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) agreed with the Jordanian government to pay the rest of its debts, Jordanian newspaper Al-Ghad reported.

Al-Hindi pointed out that GNA will pay 46 million dinars out a total of 132 million, having already paid the 86 million.

Head of the Tripoli-based government, Fayez Al-Sarraj, arrived yesterday in Jordan where he will be meeting with several officials.

Al-Hindi told Al-Ghad that “the two governments will discuss the mechanism of payment of financial hotel fees of 46 million dinars.”
