JUFRA – The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced on Sunday that it had provided humanitarian aide to 222 families displaced from Fuqaha to al-Jufra due to violence.

According to a statement by IOM, “in the past few days, 222 families have been displaced from Fuqaha to al-Jufra because of acts of violence that rendered the city unsafe. IOM, with the support of the European Union Trust Fund, provided non-food items including mattresses, blankets, and other necessities to families who had been displaced and returned to Fuqaha as well as to relatives of some families who remained in Jufra, as part of the organization’s support to communities affected by conflicts.”
