The Address | Benghazi – Libya
BENGHAZI – Deputy Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Stephanie Williams, met on Tuesday in Benghazi with members of the House of Representatives.
According to UNSMIL, Williams discussed with the representatives the recent procedures and legislations of the House, the upcoming national conference, the new security arrangements in Tipoli and the deteriorating situation in southern Libya.
Williams also met with Head of Benghazi Municipality Steering Committee, Saqar Omran Bujewari, and discussed the importance of opening the UN office in the city, the UN’s support for de-mining and the positive impacts of the economic reforms.
