Libya’s neighboring countries are holding a meeting in Niamey next week

NIAMEY – The neighboring countries of southern Libya will hold a meeting at the level of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense with the participation of some security services in the Nigerian capital of Niamey on December 14th.

The meeting, in which Libya, Sudan, Niger and Chad will participate, will discuss the fight against transnational organized crime in the Sahel region, based on the joint law signed by the countries after their meeting in Khartoum last May.

The meeting will also focus on how to find political solutions to the Libyan crisis.
