The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The Charge d’affaires of the British embassy in Libya, Angus Mckee, expressed his country’s intention to resume the work of its embassy in Tripoli, once security conditions are improved.

During a meeting with Libyan Charge d’Affaires in Tunis, Mohamed M’alloul, on Saturday, Mckee stressed his country’s support for all efforts to achieve stability in Libya.

He pointed out that the unity and stability of Libyan institutions will contribute to strengthening the economy of the country as a major and prominent neighbor of the European countries, which will enhance opportunities for economic cooperation between the two sides.

For his part, M’alloul praised the efforts of the British Embassy and its activities in all areas that would strengthen relations with Libya, calling for its return to work from within Libya as soon as possible.
