Tunisia’s FM says foreign interventions in Libya prolong the crisis

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TUNIS – Tunisian Foreign Minister, Khemaies Jhinaoui, said that what hinders the solution of the Libyan crisis is foreign interference in the affairs of the country.

Speaking to a local radio program, Jhinaoui said if Libyans are left without external dictations, they will be able to reach a solution to the current crisis, affirming that that what brings Libyans together is much more than what divides them.

Jhinaoui said that Tunisia’s role in bringing peace to Libya is in the benefit of his country, “we have a national, security and economic interest in speeding up and contributing to resolving the Libyan crisis,” he said. “There is no solution in Libya except for a consensus solution that includes everyone.”
