Tripoli-based coast guard rescues 10 migrants

TAJURA – The Department for Combating Illegal Migration in the city of Tajura announced on Saturday that the Tripoli-based coast guard has rescued ten migrants, including a five-year-old child.

According to the Department, he migrants are from several Arabic countries. They were taken to migration centers in Tajura following their rescue.

The Department later announced that three Moroccan migrants, among those rescued, were deported back to their country on Sunday. The migrants were airlifted via Mitiga International Airport.
