NOC chairman: Meeting of the general assemblies of oil companies will be held in Benghazi for its security

BENGHAZI – Chairman of the Tripoli-based National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanalla, said on Tuesday that  Benghazi will host a meeting of the general assemblies of all of Libya’s oil companies because of its security and stability.

“This is a pioneering step to bring all the oil companies together in one place to hold their meetings,” he said.

On Monday, Sanalla and members of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation and the directors-general of the Corporation arrived in Benghazi to start the meetings of the general assemblies of all of Libya’s oil companies.

The General Assembly of the Arab Gulf Oil Company on Tuesday presented the its framework and budget for 2018 in addition to the proposed framework work and budget for 2019.
