Tunisia’s FM condemns terrorist attack on GNA’s Foreign Ministry

TRIPOLI – Tunisia’s Foreign Minister, Khemaies Jhinaoui, condemned in Tuesday’s terror attack on the Foreign Minister of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA).

In a phone call with GNA’s Foreign Minister, Mohamed Siala, the Tunisia minister expressed his deepest regrets over the attack and wished speed recovery to the wounded.

Jhinaoui affirmed his country’s support for Libya in its war against terrorism.

Suicide attackers and gunmen targeted on Tuesday the headquarters of the Tripoli-based Foreign Ministry. Three people have been killed and nine others will injured following the attack.

Terrorist group ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
