Libya ranked 186 out of 190 countries in World Bank Doing Business 2019 report

LIBYA – Libya was ranked 186 out of 190 countries around the world according to the World Bank’s Doing Business 2019 report, where the performance of the states is measured on trade regulations and protection of property rights.

The results showed that Libya has dropped one place in the ranking since last year and was one of the five lowest ranked countries, followed by Yemen Venezuela, Eritrea and Somalia with the advance of Southern Sudan, the Congo, the Central African Republic, Haiti and Chad.

The report is based on a comparison between the business law of local companies in 190 countries.
