Milanesi and Pompeo to discuss Libya in a January meeting in Washington

ROME – Italy’s Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that its minister, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, will visit Washington in January 3rd – 4th for a meeting with United States Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo,  at the State Department and with national security adviser John Bolton at the White House.

According to a statement by the Italian ministry, the two diplomat will discuss bilateral relations in addition to international issues such as “global security; the situation in the Mediterranean area; the commitment to stabilize Libya; the path of peace in the Middle East; economic and social growth in Africa,”
