Administrative Control Authority seeks to develop its work with UN expertise

TRIPOLI – Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Nasser Ali Hassan, discussed on Saturday with the Deputy Head of the United Nations Support Mission, Stephanie Williams, mechanisms to develop the Authority’s work in Libya with the assistance of the UN Mission.

According to a statement by the Authority, Hassan and Williams “discussed the neutrality of the regulatory institutions regarding political disputes, activating their supervisory role in all professional ways and how to assist the executive bodies in the current economic arrangements to ease the burden on the citizen,”

The two sides agreed to train members of the Authority to benefit from the experience of the United Nations in the field of combating corruption.
