Zuwara’s coast guard rescues 23 migrants

ZUWARA – Coast guard of the city of Zuwara announced on Sunday the rescue of twenty three migrants, off of the city’s shores.

According to the coast guard, there were women and children among the migrants whom included Moroccan, Pakistani, Nepalese, Ghanaian and Libyan nationals.

The migrants were caught stranded at sea after their boat was damaged. Medical and humanitarian aid was provided to them and they were handed over to the illegal immigration control agency in the city.
