JALU – The Supreme Council of the Oil, Gas and Water Basin in the cities of Jalu, Ujla, Ajkharra, Tazirbo, Marada, Zalla and al-Kufra, congratulated the Libyan National Army (LNA) for its victories and freeing the abductees of al-Fuqaha and Tazirbo towns.
“The end of this year was marked by victories and achievements of LNA led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in confronting internal and external conspiracies such as those of the Muslim Brotherhoods and the terrorist groups supporting them.”
The council said in a statement seen by the Address, “We congratulate the victories of LNA in the town of Ghadwa south of Sabha and freeing the abductees of al-Fuqaha and Tazirbo, pursuing the remnants of the terrorist militia leader Aljidhran and the remnants of the terrorist groups so-called Benghazi Defence Brigades, in addition to the Chadian gangs that are trying to control southern Libya.
The statement confirmed the support of the people of the Basin region to LNA until it liberates the entire Libyan soil of terrorism and extremism.
The Council also confirmed in the statement its rejection of the meeting of the so-called al-Zawiya Gathering and its outputs against LNA, pointing out that LNA is a red line that they would never allow touching it.
It is noteworthy that the spokesman of the LNA, Brigadier General Ahmad Al-Mismari, said in a special statement to the Address on Tuesday, that LNA was able to free 20 abductees in the town Ghadwa south of Sabha after had been kidnapped by IS from al-Fuqaha and Tazirbo towns two months ago.
