Trump and El Sisi discuss the Libyan crisis in a phone call

CAIRO – Egypt’s President, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, spoke over the phone with U.S. President, Donald Trump, Tuesday evening.

According to the spokesman of the Egyptian Presidency, El Sisi and Trump discussed “joint efforts to restore stability in the region so as to reach political solutions to ongoing crises, notably in Libya, Syria and Yemen.”

“El Sisi also touched on Egypt’s counter-terrorism efforts, reiterating the Egyptian people and leadership’s resolve to continue efforts to root out terrorism.”
