TOBRUK – Patrols of the 108th Infantry Battalion of the Tobruk military region of the Libyan National Army (LNA) intercepted a Turkish-made weapon shipment loaded on a Land Cruiser vehicle after chasing it and exchanging fire with its passengers.
It is noteworthy that two shipments of weapons on board two Turkish ships were seized in Greece and at the port of al-Khums in Libya last month.
The shipments caused a wide controversy and demands for international sanctions against Turkey for violating international resolutions on the prevention of the supply of arms to Libya.
