Al-Sarraj & Borissov agree upon ministerial cooperation over Libyan vessel

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – Prime Minister of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez Al-Sarraj, spoke on the phone with Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, Boyko Borissov, to discuss bilateral relations and the case of Libyan vessel Badr, which was seized by Bulgarian authorities four weeks ago.

According to a statement by Al-Sarraj’s media office, the two statesmen agreed upon communication between both countries’ foreign ministries to put an end to the case of Badr vessel and complete its legal procedures.

Last month, the Bulgarian coastguard police used force to evacuate the Libyan crew on the Libyan vessel Badr, which is docked in a Bulgarian port, over a court dispute.
