GNA’s Health Ministry calls on conflicting militias not to attack ambulance drivers

TRIPOLI – Health Ministry of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) called on all warring parties in southern Tripoli not to violate international humanitarian law by attacking ambulances and its drivers or while carrying out their duties.

The ministry said late Friday that the death toll of the armed clashes has risen to 13 and 52 injured, including women and children.

On Wednesday morning, armed clashes broke out between GNA-funded militias; the so-called Tripoli Protection Force and the 7th Brigade in the Qasr Ben Ghashir area south of Tripoli.
