Libya will head the 5 + 5 Dialogue Conference for the next two years

VALLETTA – Libya will head the 5 + 5 Dialogue Conference for the next two years  in partnership with Malta as announced during the Conference’s ministerial meeting in Valletta on Friday.

Foreign Minister of the Tripoli-based government, Mohamed Siala, represented Libya in the ministerial meeting which dealt with issues of common concern to the Mediterranean region such as migration, sustainable development, education and youth and women issues.

The 5 + 5 Dialogue brings together Spain, France, Italy, Malta and Portugal on the northern Mediterranean shore, as well as Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania and Tunisia on the southern shore.
