The Address | Benghazi – Libya

SABHA – The spokesman for the Special Forces of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Col. Melod Zoe Confirmed that the security conditions in the city of Sabha have improved after the intensive deployment of LNA forces in various parts of the city.

Zoe pointed out according to his press office that several areas of the city is currently a security cordon after the announcement of its inhabitants their welcome of LNA operations in the different regions of the south.

On the solution of the fuel crisis, said the spokesman of the Special Forces, that several stations have already begun to provide citizens with gas at official prices like other Libyan cities after securing access and distribution.

The Directorate of Security began its operation for the first time since 2014 with the support of the LNA forces, which oversees securing the arrival of fuel shipments from the main warehouse.

It is noteworthy that the people of southern Libya were in the past years buying gasoline from the black market at high prices, which reached three dinars per litre, while the official price is 0.15 dinar, because of the disruption of supplies from the north for security reasons, including kidnapping and armed robbery against truck drivers and smuggling.
