LNA advances in Sabha, Special Forces Spox

SABHA – The Libyan National Army (LNA) controls new areas in the city of Sabha and about to move to the next stage approaching Checkpoint 17, which symbolizes dread to the residents and passers-by, the Spokesman of the Special Forces of LNA Col. Meloud al-Zuway said today.

The Spokesman confirmed during the past two days that the security situation in the south became better after the arrival of LNA forces to the region, pointing out that a number of headquarters had been received.

The Security Directorate, the Investigation Office, the Internal and External Security headquarters had been received, al-Zuway said.

The plan set by the LNA General Command to receive the headquarters of the state is going according to what is planned, he added.

It is noteworthy that the General Command of LNA had announced the launch of a comprehensive military operation to cleanse the Libyan southwestern region after the spread of crimes of killing, looting, theft and kidnapping in the region.
