WHO sends four medical teams to different Libyan cities

LIBYA – In response to the emergency health needs of Tawerghans and other displaced families, World Health Organization (WHO) in Libya deployed 4 specialized medical teams to Baniwaled, Tarhouna, Ijdabia and Al Keesh, WHO said in a statement.

Supported by USAID – US Agency for International Development, the medical teams with different specialties provide integrated primary health care services with referral support, the statement said.

Each medical team consists of an internal medicine, a pediatrician, a gynecologist, a dermatologist and a general physician.
