Five Pakistani illegal migrants deported from Libya

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Wednesday that five illegal Pakistani migrants had left Libya as part of a voluntary return program to their country, according to a local official.

The spokesman of the Libyan Department of Fight against Illegal Immigration, Husni Abu-Ayana, said the migrants had left the capital, Tripoli, bound for Islamabad to join after a stopover in Istanbul.

The return of migrants is set up under IOM’s Voluntary Return Program, which makes arrangements to facilitate the return of immigrants stranded in Libya to their countries of origin.
