WHO provides a few medical equipment to Benghazi Children’s Hospital

BENGHAZI – The World Health Organization (WHO) provided six incubators and a respirator to Benghazi Children’s Hospital on Friday.

The organization stressed the hospital’s need for life-saving equipment for preterm infants, especially since this hospital is the only hospital for children in eastern and south-eastern Libya.

The delivery of medical equipment was carried out in accordance with the WHO Information Office in the presence of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Humanitarian Coordinator Maria Ribeiro and the representative of the World Health Organization in Libya Dr. Jafar Hussein and the Chairman of the Benghazi Municipal Council of the Falcon Amran Boujouari.
