Khoms (Exclusive) – A ship carrying military armored vehicles equipped with missile and mine protection systems arrived at the seaport of Khoms from Turkey, a source told The Address on Tuesday.
The source, who asked not to be named, said that the vehicles were imported through one of the car import companies that is well-known in Misurata, without identifying the importer.
The source confirmed that the 80 armored vehicles were shipped on 40 feet containers from Turkey and are being extracted from the seaport of Khoms to an unknown destination.
Turkish defense firm Norol manufactures the Turkish military combat armament, which is one of the world’s most advanced armors.
Last December, the port of Khoms received military shipments arriving from Turkey, where the authorities of the port of Khoms maritime seized weapons and ammunition.
