TRIPOLI – The International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced via Twitter on Thursday that its teams provided humanitarian aid to 255 migrants in Tripoli.
Mattresses, winter blankets, clothes, and hygiene items were delivered to migrants in Qasr Ben Ghashir area, as part of IOM efforts to ensure migrants’ access to necessary relief items.
“The challenges in detention centers grow especially as the weather conditions worsen,” stated IOM. “More needs to be done to address the issue of detention in Libya.”
