N’DJAMENA – Chadian media released video footage of the 250 Chadian armed rebels whom were captured on Saturday during their attempt to enter the borders of Chad coming from Libya.
The video shows four rebel leaders, one of whom expresses remorse for their fight against the government of their country. He said that Libyans, including specific individuals from Misurata, were supplying them with weapons in agreement with their leader Timane Erdimi. Erdimi is wanted by office of the Attorney General in Tripoli since early last month.
Last Friday, fighter jets of the Libyan National Army’s Air Force carried out air strikes targeting three groups of Chadian rebel gangs and their allies near the southern city of Murzuq.
