Gutteres discusses the situation in Libya with Presidents of Egypt & Tunisia

ADDIS ABABA – The United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Gutteres, met on Sunday with Egypt’s President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, on the margins of the African Union Summit.

During the meeting, Gutteres congratulated Egypt for assuming the chairmanship of the African Union. He also also discussed with El-Sisi regional matters, including the implementation of the UN Action Plan in Libya.

In a similar context, Gutteres met with Tunisia’s President, Beji Caid Essebsi, and discussed with him the situation in Libya and the importance of united international community support for the implementation of the UN Action Plan for Libya.
