TOBRUK – The head of the Tobruk Municipal Council Faraj Bou Khattabiya on Tuesday issued a stern warning to the British authorities accusing them of harboring and supporting elements of the Muslim Brotherhood and not taking any clear stance against it despite what the organization did in Libya and other Arab countries.
In his statement, Bou Khattabiya, said that Baker had asked his country to deal with the leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood and extremists in Manchester, such as Abdelhakim Belhaj and others. He called for the need to hand them over to the Libyan authorities as soon as possible.
On Monday, the head of the Tobruk Municipal Council discussed with the British ambassador to Libya Frank Becker the aspects of cooperation to provide services for the municipality of Tobruk in health, education and other sectors.
