AGOCO ups output to 314,000 bpd as wells connected

BENGHAZI – Libya’s Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), a subsidiary of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), has increased its output to 314,000 barrels per day (bpd) after connecting three additional wells to the Sarir oilfield, announced the Chair of AGOCO Management Committee, Ashraf al-Abbar.

Two days ago, the production engineering coordinator in al-Sareer oilfield operated two wells, which were recently completed and put on production at a daily production rate of 2,600 bpd, said the director of the company’s production engineering department, Mohammed al-Qadi.

The company also connected on Tuesday a new well in the complex No. 1 of al-Sareer oilfield, with a capacity of 700 bpd, he added.
