Dutch ambassador to Libya & director of Tripoli AG investigation office discuss cooperation

TRIPOLI – The Netherlands’ ambassador to Libya, Lars Tummers, met on Wednesday with director of Tripoli’s Attorney General investigation office, Saddik al-Sour, to discuss importance of accountability and cooperation.

Tummers stated via Twitter that his country stands ready to cooperate with the Attorney General, Libyan authorities and the United Nations Mission in Libya “to prevent impunity including through targeted sanctions.”

“Justice needs to be brought to those who are in need of it,” said Tummers.
