The Address | Benghazi – Libya
SABHA – Spokesman of the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA), General Brigadier Ahmed al-Mismari, revealed on Sunday that LNA found empty passports in the southern town of Ghadwa, which were used to smuggle terrorists out of Libya.
During a meeting with LNA officers in Sabha, Al-Mismari explained that these empty passports were found after LNA controlled Ghadwa late January. Al-Mismari said that these passports allow their carriers to enter Turkey to receive medical treatment over there.
While Al-Mismari did not mention who’s issuing these passports, he said that they’re being sold for about 200 to 300 Libyan dinars. He also affirmed that LNA is investigating in the case of these illegal passports and seeks to arrest all those involved in this crime.
