Civil aviation at Libya’s Sabha airport to resume

SABHA – General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, issued a decree to resume civil aviation at Sabha International Airport for humane and social purposes, Commander of Sabha Military Zone, Al Mabrouk al-Ghazwy, told press Monday.

Ghazwy clarified that the security agencies at the airport will operate under the supervision of Sabha Military Zone.

Mid-January, LNA launched an operation to liberate the south west of the country from terror groups. Few days ago, the general command banned aviation in the area without a permission from the Air Force.
