Mayors of Libya’s municipalities discuss implementing EU-funded program

TRIPOLI – Mayor of 24 municipalities in Libya attended a meeting on Sunday to discuss implementing a program funded by the European Union, which aims to achieve improve education and health care in those municipalities.

During the meeting, interlocutors held “technical consultations” regrading the program, according to the Italian embassy.

The program was launched by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), in partnership with UNICEF and UNDP, to support improving governance and basic community services in partnership.
