The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TUNIS – The Libyan National Army (LNA) eliminated terrorists and outlaws in the Southern region, said the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) forces, Lieutenant General Salim Juha.

Juha told the Address Journal exclusively that there was no single bullet fired recently from the General Staff of GNA forces towards any soldier of LNA.

No force parallel to the forces of the Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalia Haftar, will be formed. Our first priority in the General Staff of GNA forces in the Western Region will be the unification of the military institution, the Deputy Chief said.

It is our task to reorganize the armed forces in the Western Region, in coordination with the General Command of the Libyan National Army, and achieve what was agreed upon in Cairo, he added.

What the Libyan National Army did in the South was a national duty and an important achievement, Lieutenant General Salim Juha noted out.
