QATRUN – Forces of the Libyan National Army (LNA) peacefully entered Qatrun, a village in the Murzuq District in southern Libya, LNA announced on Saturday.
LNA soldiers were received by the welcoming cheers of Qatrun’s residents upon their arrival.
In less than a week, LNA took over several southern towns including Umm al-Aranib, Ghat, Traghan and al-Awainat. These advances are part of LNA’s military campaign to secure the country’s lawless south.
