23 illegal migrants arrested in the municipality of Jalu

JALU – Police in the municipality of Jalu seized on Saturday two cars with twenty three Sudanese illegal migrants on-board following a car-chase in the desert near Al-Wahat district.

A police source told The Address that the migrants are currently detained in Jalu for necessary legal procedures ahead of handing them over to competent authorities.

It is noteworthy that the police in Jalu are conducting night patrols and establishing check-points to combat any criminal activity, especially illegal immigration and the smuggling of fuel and food supplies.
