Tunisia’s FM: Libya at the center of upcoming quadripartite meeting between UN, EU, AU & AL

TUNIS – Libya will be at the center of an upcoming quadripartite meeting between the United Nations, European Union, African Union and Arab League in Tunisia next week, Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui said on Saturday.

Speaking during an interview with Tunisia’s state-owned TV channel, Jhinaoui said that making a progress in the political process in Libya is considered a national interest of Tunisia as it affects the internal security and economic situation of his country.

The Tunisian diplomat expressed his hope that the upcoming meeting will be a “real start” to a peaceful solution in Libya.
