The Address | Benghazi – Libya
CAIRO – The President of the Egyptian-Libyan Association for Businessmen, Nasser Bayan, said that a delegation composing of 50 Egyptian companies will visit Libya in May to discuss participating in the reconstruction process.
“The delegation will discuss the establishment of a joint industrial zone between Egypt and Libya in Sallum to serve the trade exchange movement,” said Bayan last Friday.
Bayan pointed out that Egypt will have “the lion’s share” the reconstruction projects. He said that Turkey is competing with Egypt to enter the Libyan market, but the Libyan business sector favors Cairo.
He also called on the Egyptian government and investors to take the initiative to invest in Libya because there are real opportunities for all Egyptian sectors to exist and establish productive projects there.
