The Libyan national team lost last night their match against South Africa 2-1 at Al-Tayeb Al-Muhairi Stadium in Tunisia.
Although the first half ended with a draw, at the start of the second half, South Africa scored the first goal of the match from a counterattack.
In the 65th minute, the referee announced a penalty for the Mediterranean Knights where Ahmed bin Ali successfully scored it and Libya returned to the game.
The South African returned and scored its second goal in the 68th minute.
With this result, South Africa qualifies to the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations to be organized next summer in Egypt.
