Final statement of tripartite summit in Cairo

During a trilateral summit held in Cairo on Sunday, March 24, 2019, King of Jordan Abdullah II, the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and the Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi agreed to push forward economic, trade and investment cooperation between the three countries to serve their common interests.

The summit, which began with a tripartite meeting followed by an extended meeting attended by Jordanian, Egyptian and Iraqi senior officials, stressed the importance of taking advantage of the potentials offered by the three countries’ geographical and strategic and economic integration, as well as the historical, social and cultural ties between the three countries.
