The Address | Benghazi – Libya
TRIPOLI – Minister of Agriculture of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Abu Bakr Al-Mansouri, received at the ministry’s headquarters on Monday France’s ambassador to Libya, Béatrice le Fraper du Hellen.
According to a statement by the ministry, Al-Mansouri and Du Hellen discussed reactivating a joint cooperation agreement between Libya and France which was signed in 2007.
The agreement includes cooperation in different areas, including animal husbandry, improvement of breeds, animal health, production of medicines and vaccines, combating desertification as well as training, joint research and investment.
During the meeting, Du Hellen expressed her country’s keenness to widen the scope of bilateral cooperation and invited Al-Mansouri to visit France to discuss further agreements.
