Ghat hospital receives a shipment of medicine from WHO

GHAT – Ghat General Hospital received a shipment of medicines from the World Health Organization (WHO) on Sunday to support the delivery of treatment services.

The hospital administration told The Libyan Address Journal that the shipment was a number of medical solutions and antibiotics.

The hospital still needs other types of drugs not currently available in the city, especially those related to mental illness, the administration said.

Ghat is the capital of the Ghat District in the Fezzan region of southwestern Libya. It is currently being secured by the Libyan National Army after it was under the control of local militias for several years.
