Chad will create joint force to secure border with Libya

N’DJAMENA – The Chadian government will create a mixed security force in Tibesti province, in the north of the country, to secure the border with Libya, a desert area where traffickers, illegal gold miners and terrorists operate.

According to news website Sahel Intelligence, this mixed force will be composed of gendarmes, policemen and soldiers of the Chadian army. His command will be based in Kouri Bougoudi, a gold zone in northwestern Chad.
