AL MAYA – Italy’s ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi, visited on Saturday the municipality of Al Maya, 27 km west of Tripoli, to deliver medical assistance.
According to a statement by the Italian embassy, Grimaldi met with representatives of the municipality and delivered medicines and medical appliances to the local Hospital.
Grimaldi’s visit comes in the framework of Italy’s Solidarity Bridge program which aims to support Libyan municipalities most affected by illegal migration and human trafficking.
