TRIPOLI – The governor of the Tripoli-based Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq al-Kabeer, left Tripoli this evening on a Libyan Wings flight to Tunisia.

According to leaked photos, al-Kabeer arrived at Mitiga Airport under intensive security from the Nawasi Islamist Battalion and parked under the plane before boarding the first-class.

In a similar context, local media sources and eyewitnesses have reported the departure of the Presidential Council member Ahmed Hamza, and Fathi al-Majbri.

The reports indicated that al-Majbri left Tripoli in the morning while Hamza left with his wife on the African Airways to Tunis at 7 pm. Earlier this morning, the ‏‏‏‏spokesperson for the President of the Presidency Council, Mohamed El Sallak left to Tunisia as well.

The Libyan Address Journal tried to contact PC member Fathi Al-Mujabri by phone to verify the news, but he could not be reached.
