Human Rights Commission demand GNA Interior Minister to stop arbitrary arrests in Tripoli

TRIPOLI – The National Human Rights Commission called on Interior Minister of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Fathi Bashagha, to stop his arbitrary measures by issuing arrest and detention orders against supporters of the Libyan National Army (LNA), led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in the city of Tripoli and the Western Region.

The Commission stressed the need to stop any campaigns of arrests and illegal detention of any citizen due to their political or social positions and affiliations by all military parties.
