The Address | Benghazi – Libya
TRIPOLI – Interior Minister of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Fathi Bashagha, asked Almadar Aljadid, a telecommunications company, to cut communications in some areas.
According to a classified document leaked to The Address, Bashagha called on Almadar Aljadid to cut communications in three areas, which are Goot Alroman, Garabulli a.k.a. Castelverde and Tarhuna, “due to the intensification of military battles”.
Bashagha also asked the company to justify this move by claiming that there are “power supply problems”.
